Created in 48 hours for the Global Game Jam 2026 (Theme: "Mask").

NPD Simulator is a dark, cynical point-and-click management experience that puts you in the shoes of a person living with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. In a world of "normals," your survival depends on one thing: How long can you maintain the mask of perfection before your fragile sanity collapses under the weight of reality?

You don’t see people; you see assets. You don't have a life; you have a performance. Your sanity is a leaking bucket, and the only way to plug the holes is through the constant accumulation of Money, Power, and Sex. But reality—in the form of tax audits, workplace betrayals, and relationship breakups, all eager to unmask you—is always knocking at the door.

Quick start: Insult a lot, then Promote at Money. This will invert the Sanity tendency. From there, you'll have to upgrade your lies (Law, Coffee, Flowers) as you control Threat levels to keep them at bay when they are about to hit 100%, not earlier; this way, you lower them the most.
